MARITIME MOSAIC LPG TANKERS AT BELFAST • Belfast Harbour is the major maritime gateway for Northern Ireland, and, among many other cargo vessels, hosts numerous gas carriers bringing propane from terminals all round the world. Roy Thompson’s photographs show some of these vessels traversing the port’s Victoria Channel. The port’s 2,000-acre estate makes up a fifth of Belfast City, and it has 8km of operational quays and wharves.
